Profile

3rd Thought Entertainment produces and supports conventional forms of art presented with experimental methods and processes. The consequence of such attempts are usually termed ‘niche’, and we stand by and for it. Without any funding whatsoever, we have coped to build our own entertainment province which engulfs music, movies, publications, and visual art. Within these forms of art itself, experimentation leaves infinite possibilities and we are out to explore far and wide.

With the 3rd Thought Community, we wish to build a sanctuary for artists who are riding on our wavelength. This is our tool to collaborate with, and expose potent minds. Our objective with the 3rd Thought Community is to assemble artists across art forms so that we can help each other fill in our blanks and progress together.

Mission statement: “To make intelligent art a household term.”

Motto: “Experiment, find, change. Repeat cycle.”

Vision: “We aim to bridge the gap between parallel and mainstream art in all forms and manifestations by producing premium artifacts across movies, music, publications and visual art.”

Philosophy

The two pillars of ideology that 3rd Thought stands on are integration of art forms and artistic union.

Integrating art forms like music, movies, writing, and visual art is the process that the community uses to extend the experience of every artifact.

Examples:

  • A music album is packaged with artwork to represent the songs hence giving the product more artistic value. This way, the musician and the designer both have a solid product.
  • Exhibition wise, we intend to do similar things: At a live show of one of our artist, we would deck up the place with artwork by other artists from the community or during an art exhibition by our artists, we would have musicians playing live sets to enhance the experience of walking around and viewing art besides in the space we could have poetry readings and movie projections. The idea is to attract an audience member to more than one artist and artifact under the disguise of exhibitions. This way, even the exhibition space gets more footfalls.
  • Similar combinations of different forms of art.

The pivotal intention of 3rd Community is to enhance ‘pure’ imagination and give hidden explosive artists a platform to expose their works and ensure that no commercial reasons affect or condition the true side of their personal art.

3rd Community also does not differentiate artists by social caliber, social standing, but certainly does not rule out extreme respect for our veterans and contemporaries. We believe that honest art is non-competitive and hence look forward to holding exhibitions with mature and new artists to promote confidence and visibility for the new artists. This community functions like one in the true sense where we are fundamentally trying to emerge with the power of artistic union.

3rd Community’s ambition is to produce unrestrained art and progress towards a society which is art oriented and hence more peaceful yet powerful.
